Engagement Score Formula

The metrics and multipliers are combined using the base formula. To ensure the scores are more significant and impactful, a scaling factor of 10 is then applied to the base score.

Formula for Base Score:

Engagement Score = [(number of impressions x 1) + (number of likes x 2.14) + (number of quotes x 0.20) + (number of replies x 0.11) + (number of bookmarks x 0.00086) + (number of retweets x 1.71)]

Scaling Factor:

Engagement Score = [(number of impressions x 1) + (number of likes x 2.14) + (number of quotes x 0.20) + (number of replies x 0.11) + (number of bookmarks x 0.00086) + (number of retweets x 1.71)] x 10
