# Scoring System

The SocialFi scoring system evaluates various metrics to determine your engagement score. Each metric therefore has been assigned a difficulty multiplier, based on the relative difficulty of attaining **the respective engagement\***.

To ensure that genuine engagement is rewarded and abuse from bots is prevented, we will continue to keep the scoring algorithms private. However, weekly score updates will happen every **Monday at 3 PM UTC**.

*\*The relative engagement difficulty is based on real-life social media data, normalised for importance and frequency, resulting in the respective difficulty multipliers, ensuring a balanced metric representation.*
