# Experience & Level

**Level**

Each **Plooshy** starts at level 0 (XP 1) and can be upgraded up to level 33 in the arcade building. To do this, players must exchange certain Gem Constellations *(e.g. 1x RED, 1x BLUE, 1x GREEN),* which are collected through mining crystals that house owners spawn in front of their gardens.

However, the level indicator within **Plooshy Island** isn’t as traditional as seen in many other games. Levels will automatically be rewarded to the player when they deliver the required gems to the arcade receptionist!

***Note:** Levelling up additionally costs a certain amount of **Plooshy Points (PP)**. If you do not want to level up your **Plooshy**, you can also sell the crystals collected at the Marketplace in the City Hub to the NPC who is selling the Mining Gear and get **Plooshy Points (PP)** in return.*

**Experience (XP)**

Depending on the current level, a **Plooshy** has experience points. This value serves as a multiplier (boost factor) for quests and staking. The higher the XP, the higher the reward in the form of **Plooshy Points (PP)**.
